AMERICANS SIGN FORMER FLYERS DRAFT PICK
Allen TEXAS- The Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League and GM Dwight Mullins announced the signing of goalie Rejean Beauchemin to a contract for the 2011-2012 season. Beauchemin returns to the United States after signing in Europe last year with the
Heilbronner Falkins, in Germany.
"Rejean is a great fit for our goaltending situation" said Americans Head Coach and GM Dwight Mullins. "He brings an impressive resume, along with great locker room leadership to our hockey club.”
Among the career highlights for Beauchemin include 2 gold medals with Team Canadian in the World Juniors Tournament, one in 2002-2003 on the18U roster and another in 2004-2005 with the 20U team.
Beauchemin is a former sixth round draft pick of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2003 NHL entry draft, he was selected #191st overall.

to get the season started.”
Rejean Beauchemin has had four American Hockey League call-ups over his six year professional career. Two with the Philadelphia Phantoms, one in 2005-2006, then again in 2006-2007. Beauchemin played in one game for the Houston Aeros in 2008-2009 allowing
three goals on 19 shots. He also played in two games for the Manitoba Moose in 2009-2010.
