Although it was an absolute team effort for the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs in their run to the 2011 CHL Ray Miron Presidents’ Cup, forward
Jeff Kyrzakos stood out as the player who scored some huge goals and who anchored a line with Shawn Limpright and Travis Clayton who brought their team what they needed both offensively and defensively, when they needed it.
Kyrzakos finished the post-season with 12 goals and seven assists and scored four times in the Finals. More impressively was that of his four scores, three served as game winners including the game winner in the 2-1 deciding Game 7 and the overtime winner in the game that turned the series around, Game 4 – a come-from-behind overtime win.
CHL Director of Hockey Operations Jim Wiley presented the MVP award to Kyrzakos at the Budweiser Events Center.
