On-Ice Officials for Ray Miron Presidents’ Cup Finals Announced
TEMPE, AZ (May 13, 2011) – The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today the four referees and five linesmen that will make up the on-ice officials crew for the 2011 CHL Ray Miron Presidents’ Cup Finals that begins on Friday at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado.
The referee pool for the finals will be Dan Dreger, Ryan Hersey, Jon McIsaac and Geoff Miller and the men working the lines in the finals will be John Grandt, Jean Menard, Chris Petrin, Cory Piche and Jon Shaw.
“We are pleased to reward these nine individuals for their outstanding work during the regular season and through the playoffs,” said Wayne Bonney, CHL’s Supervisor of Officials. “Our guys have done a great job and deserve to be a part of the culmination of a great season.”
This marks the third straight appearance in the finals for Petrin and the second straight season that Dreger, McIsaac, Hersey and Grandt have been selected. All other selected officials will be making their first appearance in the CHL Finals.
The best-of-7 series between the Colorado Eagles and the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs will begin on Friday, May 13. The entire schedule is listed below:
