Colorado Eagles forward Greg Pankewicz enjoyed a record setting 2005 Dodge Central Hockey League All-Star Game with a dominating five goal, nine point performance during a 14-13 shootout win. His five goals are a new All-Star Record, as are his nine total points, earning him selection as Northern Conference Most Valuable Player. Despite the outburst, the Southern Conference battled back from a six goal deficit to tie the game 13-13, led by Corpus Christis Jason Baird. Baird had three goals and three assists in the contest to take home MVP honors for the Southern Conference. The contest ended in the sixth round of the shootout, with Topeka forward Mike Lukajic scoring the game winning goal. Memphis forward Don Parsons also scored for the Northern Conference, becoming the CHLs career All-Star goal leader with a total of seven, while he and Pankewicz share the CHL career All-Star point record with 13. Parsons game used stick and Pankewicz game worn jersey are among numerous artifacts collected and en route to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.
